Guarantee
In June, 6, 2008 the State Standard Specifications GOST 19116-84, GOST 26167-84, GOST 1135-88 were replaced for intergovernmental Standard Specifications GOST 19116-2005 «Dress footwear. General specifications», GOST 26167-2005 «Casual footwear. General specifications», GOST 1135-2005 «Home and light footwear. General specifications». These documents specify the guarantee wearing period for dress and casual footwear (no less than 30 days since the day of sale through a retailing chain or since the day of the beginning of the sale-season) and for home and light footwear (no less than 30 days since the day of sale through a retailing chain).
Since July, 7, 2008 JSC «Sivelga» established the following guarantee periods:
- Dress and casual footwear (except whole-season footwear) — 30 days since the day of sale through a retailing chain or since the day of the beginning of the sale-season;
- Home and light footwear — 30 days since the day of sale through a retailing chain.
- Children footwear:
- footwear with the leather sole — 40 days since the day of sale through a retailing chain or since the day of the beginning of the sale-season;
- footwear with leather sole with rubber layer — 45 days since the day of sale through a retailing chain or since the day of the beginning of the sale-season;
- footwear with the sole made of «koshvaloon» (leather imitation rubber), stironep, transparent, polyvinylchloride, porous rubber, polyurethane, thermoplastic elastomer — 60 days since the day of sale through a retailing chain or since the day of the beginning of the sale-season.
The company stated the assortment of the whole-season footwear:
- women shoes with the sole of leather imitation rubber and other materials with the sickness less than 6mm;
- women shoes with molded sole and middle and high heels;
- men low shoes;
- light footwear.
The guarantee period for these types of footwear is 30 days since the day of sale through a retailing chain.
